Teammate

Team members at Bowl Mami are cross-trained across multiple roles — Front of House (Cashier) and Blendologist — to ensure smooth operations. You may handle duties from more than one role depending on shift and business needs, and you're expected to learn every role over time.

Front of House / Cashier

• Greet every guest warmly and serve them promptly, whether in person or by phone.
• Give accurate quote times for call-in and pickup orders.
• Be knowledgeable about all menu items, ingredients, and packaged merchandise.
• Keep merchandise and juice shelves stocked.
• Upsell juices, cleanses, add-ons, or promotions (BOGO, discounts, etc.).
• Handle customer questions confidently; if unsure, ask a Shift Lead or Manager.
• Ring up orders and handle payments accurately.
• Expedite orders quickly and neatly.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, service counter, hallway, and bathroom.
• Support Blendologists and Leads during low-traffic times.

Blendologist

• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Ensure a positive guest experience from start to finish.
• Prepare bowls, smoothies, and toasts exactly per recipe for consistent taste and presentation.
• Expedite orders with urgency and care.
• Keep prep and blend areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Shift Lead

The Shift Lead carries all Teammate responsibilities while also guiding the team, maintaining quality, and keeping the energy positive throughout service. You're the go-to person on the floor during your shift.

All Teammate Responsibilities, Plus:

• Lead the team during your shift — set the pace, tone, and standard.
• Be the point of contact for team questions and guest escalations.
• Ensure every station is set up correctly before service and closed down properly after.
• Monitor speed of service and product quality throughout the shift.
• Handle minor issues on the floor before escalating to management.
• Assist in training and coaching new team members during shifts.
• Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Communicate shift notes, incidents, or inventory needs to management.

Manager

The Manager is responsible for the full day-to-day operation of Bowl Mami. You lead people, uphold our standards, and ensure every guest and team member has a great experience. You carry all Teammate and Shift Lead responsibilities and more.

All Shift Lead Responsibilities, Plus:

• Oversee overall store operations, staffing, and scheduling.
• Hold the team accountable to Bowl Mami's quality and service standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members.
• Track daily sales, monitor performance, and report to ownership.
• Create a positive team culture rooted in Bowl Mami's values.
• Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labor, and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with ownership on promotions, events, and community initiatives.

Delivery Associate

As a Delivery Associate, you're often the last touchpoint in a guest's experience. You represent the Bowl Mami brand on the road — every delivery is a chance to make someone's day a little better.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver orders accurately and on time to customers and office locations.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with every customer interaction.
• Handle orders with care — presentation matters even at the door.
• Communicate proactively with the store team about delivery status and any issues.
• Keep your vehicle clean and presentable as a reflection of the brand.
• Follow safe driving practices at all times.
• Support Foodsby office delivery routes as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Clean driving record.
• Smartphone with ability to use delivery and navigation apps.
• Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
